Shamwari Game Reserve, the malaria-free, private, 25 000 hectare game reserve in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, is situated along the Bushmans River, halfway between Port Elizabeth and Grahamstown. The reserve, which forms a natural extension of the world famous Garden Route, has received numerous international awards, including the World Leading Safari and Game Reserve award and the Conservation Company award.
