The Extreme Festival - Volkswagen National Race Day is coming to Port Elizabeth , Saturday 15th July 2017. The Dunlop girls will be out in full force as the men take to the tar, fighting for the chequered flag. The pits will be lined with premier cars, TV cameras, press, radio, a vibing beer tent, stalls, kiddies zone and so much more. You name it they there!! The teams and competitors have travelled from all angles of South Africa to be here. But that's just the start!! (Gates open 6am,Racing starts from 10:00 am onwards at Aldo Scribante Race track.) The Extreme Festival is South Africa's premier track racing series, being hosted by the Algoa Motorsport Club on the 15th July 2017. The series consists of four National categories supported by AMSC Bikes and Cars: hosting the new Global Touring Car series of National Champion and F1 TV presenter Gary Formato, where the household names of MOSS, ROWE, FOURIE, BONAFEDE AND WOLK to name a few compete. Sasol Global Touring Cars, known as Sasol GTC championship is South Africas premier Manufacturers series, which hosts 17 fire spitting cars and no less than 12 South African National Champions. Its the cream of the crop in South African motorsport, where VW, AUDI AND BMW battle it out.

Red Square Kawasaki ZX10 Masters Cup is comprised of one make Kawasaki ZX10 1000cc Superbikes, producing high speeds and high performance on track. An Masters Challenge has been added to the Superbike class for riders over 35 years of age.

Engen Volkswagen Cup is a single make Saloon Car formula, running on Dunlop semi slick tyres with two liter 16v Volkswagen engines.

Investchem Formula 1600 High performance single seater racing cars, all fitted with aerodynamic wings, slick tyres, producing quick lap times and exciting close racing.

AMSC Cars are modied saloons, which are high powered bodied production cars sporting various brands & makes of cars from high powered Audis and Fords to the well-known Citi Golfs.

AMSC Bikes are motorcycles ranging from high powered Superbikes to older type classic motorcycles. There are a broad range of bikes competing and an array of National Champions.
