Shield Tours is a tour and transport provider that has been operating in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa since 2000. We are based in Port Elizabeth, Nelson Mandela Bay; the Eastern Cape’s largest city and the gateway to the province’s malaria-free Big Five game viewing country.
The Eastern Cape truly has something for everyone; from unparalleled, close-up viewing of Africa’s most charismatic wildlife and endless, deserted beach vistas to the local Port Elizabeth indie music scene and a taste of township culture. It makes for the perfect holiday, honeymoon, corporate or adventure getaway.
We are proud to provide a variety of services to cater for your travel requirements as you explore what this area has to offer. From safe and punctual private transfers between destinations in Port Elizabeth and the surrounding areas (including shuttle services to and from the Port Elizabeth Airport) to day tours and overnight trips further afield, we will ensure that you get the most out of your stay.
The tours cover the entire route between Cape Town in the Western Cape and Grahamstown in the Eastern Cape, encompassing Port Elizabeth and the world-famous Garden Route as well as the Karoo, which is inland. There are day tours in and around Port Elizabeth and overnight tours in this area and those further afield. In addition, Shield Tours offers local and regional transfers by qualified guides in and from Port Elizabeth.
