Addo Rose and Garden Show

In its 29th year, The Addo Rose & Garden Show has consistently been a firm favourite to attract Rose Lovers and Garden Enthusiasts to the Sunday’s River Valley.
Originally established by the Sunday’s River Women’s Institute, 2012 will see the first time the event will be co-ordinated by Magnetic Storm, who has been tasked with running the event for the next 5 years.
This year, The Addo Rose and Garden Show will take place on 13-14 October 2012, with a fresh new feel being added to this weekend in the country.

Once again taking place at the Valentine Hall in Addo, Charity and Development have not been left out with the design of this year’s Rose Show. 2012 will see the launch of the Algoa FM Gardening for Charity Challenge. Here, EC plant growers and Algoa Fm DJ”s will team up to compete and create gardens that will meet the needs of physically disabled individuals and those with special needs.
This will not only highlight the issues faced by physically challenged people, but showcase how everyone can garden and that easy and effective changes can be made to the design of your garden to enable people with special needs to also participate and enjoy the experience of gardening.
The well renowned Rose Hall Exhibition will be a must see for any garden lover, while the interactive Speaker’s Corner will also shed light on topics around gardening and landscaping.
Some of the attractions include Flower and Plant Stalls, Crafts, Food Stalls, Kid’s activities and even sport on the BIG Screen for those who absolutely cannot go without the latest sports update.
