Baakens Bash MTB Race

Are you ready to race through the Baakens Valley? The annual FatTracks Baakens Bash will kick off on Sunday, 31 July! Entries for this family-friendly Mountain Biking Event are NOW OPEN.

FatTracks Mountain Bike Club has been hard at work building, maintaining, and restoring the tracks in Gqeberha’s Baakens Valley. Now it’s time to put them to the test.

Bring the kids, and enjoy one of the most accessible, fun, and family-friendly MTB events in the country.

There are three race distances, catering for complete newbies to the seasoned pros. PLUS, the event is held in support of our Baakens Valley neighbour, the Aurora Special Care Centre.

DISTANCES & ENTRY FEES:

19km* – R190 (8 years +**)
12km* – R150 (8 years +**)
4km* – R80 **
*CSA licenses are not required for this race – distances are less than 20km

**Riders 12 years and younger to be accompanied by an adult entered into the race

ONLINE ENTRIES CLOSE:

Midnight on Wednesday 27 July 2022
Late entry fee of R50 applies to all entries received after close of online entries
LATE ENTRIES AND NUMBER COLLECTION:

Saturday 30 July from 12:00 to 13:00 at the Fat Tracks Containers
Sunday 31 July from 7:00 to 8:30 at the Fat Tracks Containers on William Moffatt

11h00 – Prize giving & lucky draw (or once majority of 4km riders in)
