Sifiso Nene brings the next installment of Baby Mama Drama to the Boardwalk

Popular South African comedian, Sifiso Nene brings part two of his outrageously successful show Baby Mama Drama to Port Elizabeth in May 2017. The comedian, who was the first winner of So You Think You are Funny in 2009, packed out venues across the country with the show which was his first one man production during 2016. Now it’s time for the next installment which like the first, is set to have audiences rolling on the floor laughing. He takes to the stage at the Boardwalk Amphitheatre with Baby Mama Drama 2 on 26 May 2017.

As the titles suggests, this show puts a humorous twist on parenting issues and unpacks the well known yet seldom addressed causes of why baby mamas and daddies behave the way they do.

His topics for the show range from taxi drivers (which often gets him into trouble), politics, nabanye (and others). So whether you are someone who has baby mama drama, you are dating someone who has baby mama drama, or you are in fact the baby mama who has drama, this show will have you in stitches.
Like the first show, Baby Mama Drama 2 is based on a strong observation made about single parenting issues. A casualty of single parenting himself, Nene’s aim is to change the perception that parents are monsters.

Nene has come a long way since his humble beginnings in Empangeni in KwaZulu-Natal. Since winning So You Think You are Funny, he has won several awards including the Satmas for the Best Indigenous Comedian as well as two Comics Choice Awards which are voted for by the audience. In addition to travelling the country making people laugh, he has also made a few television appearances and acted in David Kau’s comedy film Taxi Ride in 2012.
