City to Town Half Marathon

The City to Town Half Marathon is taking place on the 26th of November 2016. The race starts and finishes in Caledon Street in Uitenhage and forms part of the Uitenhage Street Carnival. The festivities include magicians, a kiddies play fair, clowns, 100% local artists, motorbike parade, summer fashion show, a DJ competition and stalls for young and old.

21KM ROAD RACE

Competitors must be 16 years of age or older on the race day. The race starts at 07h00. Official cut off time is 10h30. All price money to be paid via EFT.

5KM FAMILY RUN

The 5km Family run starts at 07h30. Race numbers must be attached to vest or T-Shirts and be visible at all times. Competitors must be 9 years or older. Medals to all finishers in 5km event.

PRIZES AND MEDALS 

Gold medals to the first 10 men and ladies as well as the winners of the different categories. Silver medals will be awarded to the next 200 athletes and bronze medals to all finishers within the cut-off for the 21km races.

LUCKY DRAW PRIZES

All entrants are eligible and must be present to win.

IMPORTANT INSURANCE

Athletes registered with EPA are covered by a Group Accident Insurance Scheme while participating in the Road Race. Details obtained from the EPA offices or your Club. This cover does not extend to athletes running with temporary licences. Temporary licensed athletes are covered by ASA Insurance scheme, applicable for race day only. Completion of the tear off slip is compulsory. There will be a separate table for individual athletes to enter.
