Free Route 67 Guided Tour
24 September 2015 - 24 September 2015
The Route 67 is a celebration of Nelson Mandela’s 67 years of public life and meanders through our city’s CBD to view 67 giant steps and 67 public art pieces by 67 local Eastern Cape artists. Visitors on the guided tour will be taken past some of the Bay’s oldest monuments, art deco architecture and a series of open-air artworks. A combined experience of visual arts, urban design and heritage assets aims at uniting all segments of a formerly divided community and showing the world what magic exists in the post-apartheid era.
The Free guided tours will be held on the 24th of September 2015. The tour will start at 09:00 at the Donkin Lighthouse complex.
