French Movie: La Môme (with English subtitles)
La Vie en Rose (English title) is a French biographical movie about the iconic French singer Édith Piaf realised by Olivier Dahan in 2007, starring Marion Cotillard.
Marion Cotillard won seven major Best Actress Awards for her portrayal of Édith Piaf including an Academy Award, a Golden Globe and a BAFTA.
Raised by her grandmother in a brothel, she was discovered while singing on a street corner at the age of 19. Despite her success, Piaf's life was filled with tragedy. From her childhood to her glory, from her victories to her wounds, from Belleville to New York, discover the incredible path of Edith Piaf.
