Indulge in a carefully curated four-course menu by Chef Francois Binneman at The Taste Room on 7 November 2024. Each course will be perfectly paired with elegant wines to elevate your evening.
Menu:
1st Course: Amuse Bouche
A delightful pre-taster to awaken your palate and set the tone for the evening.
Paired with Sarah Bubbly By Nature – a refreshing sparkling wine to awaken your palate.
2nd Course: Roasted Butternut Tart
A rich and creamy tart featuring roasted butternut squash, served with beetroot mousse, crispy candied bacon, and wild rocket tossed in a balsamic glaze.
Paired with Artisan Chardonnay – the creamy butternut tart balances beautifully with the citrus and oak notes of this Chardonnay.
3rd Course: Biltong Spiced Beef Fillet
Juicy beef fillet seasoned with biltong spices, paired with garlic and butter potato fondant, Parmesan broccoli purée, maple-glazed carrots, and a decadent red wine jus.
Paired with Lady J Syrah – a bold red that enhances the biltong spices and rich red wine jus.
4th Course: Vanilla Panna Cotta
Silky vanilla panna cotta with refreshing berry jelly, garnished with candied nuts, chocolate soil, and topped with roasted marshmallow.
Paired with Early Mist Riesling – a refreshing Riesling with a hint of sweetness, perfect for the silky panna cotta and berry jelly.
