Bayworld Museum will celebrate International Museum Day on Sunday 20 May 2018. The Museum will have an open day, with free entry for members of the public to visit the Museum. There will be various activities taking place:

- Behind the scenes tours of the collections
- Seal dissection
- Seal and penguin presentation
- Snake Interaction
- Food stalls
- World War 1 and SS Mendi exhibition tours
- Jumping Castle
- Face painting
