The Jam Jar Rally leaves from the Boardwalk on Friday 19 September and returns to the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Sunday 21 September 2014
Teams of up to 4 people in cars where the maximum value is R30 000, run from Port Elizabeth, through to Port Alfred
The trip will take them over a variety of different roads covering in excess of 800 km mostly on gravel roads.
It is expected that there will be at least 20 cars participating in this two day event. (last year they had 13)
Start will be at the Boardwalk, with the teams leaving at 07h00.
The trip, unknown to the competitors at this time, will involve a lot of the Eastern Cape, as they will travel approximately 800 km in the two days of the rally, and then end up at a finishing point for their party
This is a fun event, where the participants have to maintain a strong hold on their sense of humour for survival.
