Description: For generations beadwork has been a salient feature of clothing and accessories worn by indigenous peoples in Southern Africa. “Journeys in beadwork” explores the fascinating history of Eastern Cape beadwork, with a special focus on the historical beadwork of the Mfengu. From the Art Museum‘s Permanent Collection.
