Kiss my Country bumpkin!

The latest project from the kickass team that brought you award-winning sell out shows like KILTS, CELTS & WELSH RAREBITS, and 50 SHADES OF EVE is a fun-infused (and often typically “cheeky”) exploration of country music and culture.

The stellar foursome of Niqui, Mo, Faye and Annie, are individually well-loved by PE audiences, each having won various awards throughout the years for their performances. This show marks the first time all four of them will be on the same stage at the same time – and it’s about time!

The audience is also treated to the talents of Liska Du Preez on the fiddle, and the legendary Colin Lyall on guitar and banjo.

BOOST CREATIVE SOLUTIONS has developed a signature blend of comedy and poignancy that leaves audiences with a rich store of memorable moments... not to mention aching sides! The stratum of vocal talent within the group allows them to cover a wide spectrum of songs and styles for the audience’s pleasure.

KISS MY COUNTRY BUMPKIN is designed to bring even the most resistant patron around to loving country music, and true country fans will fall in love with it all over again!

Featuring the hits from old faves like Patsy Cline, Linda Ronstadt, Dolly Parton, Kris Kristofferson and Kenny Rogers, as well as some modern country crossovers from Bon Jovi, Blake Shelton, Martina McBride, Carry Underwood, Shania Twain, Cher and even
Lady Gaga, if this show doesn’t get your grits groovin’, you need to see a therapist!

The show runs on Wednesday the 27th and Thursday the 28th of March at the Vodacom Amphitheatre at the Boardwalk; and on Friday the 26th of April at the Barkley Street Theatre in Uitenhage.

Tickets are R95 and partial proceeds will benefit the Khayalethu Youth Centre for former street boys.
