The region's oldest and most prestigious air show is back to celebrate aviation in the Eastern Cape on the 26th November 2022.

Join us in celebration with fantastic aircraft live airshows, that will be bringing aerobatic theatre to the skies of the Nelson Mandela Bay!

Enjoy: Live streaming from inside the cockpit and airfield, static displays, live music, beer garden, food and market stalls and a chance to mingle with pilots and aviators from South Africa.

The Airshow Organiser's are passionate about community upliftment. The proceeds of this Airshow will go towards the EP Children's Home, the Algoa Council for the Aged and to offer a legacy PPL Pilot Bursary. They will also be holding a Youth Awareness Day on the 25th November 2022 at the Airfield for the Schools in the metro.

The Algoa Flying Club has collaborated with Air Show South Africa, the South African Air Force, the South African Air Force Museum, the Military Veterans, the Dogs of War, the SAPS Mounted Unit, and the various ATO's and Aviation Clubs in the Eastern Cape to organise a spectacular airshow this year.

The Commentator on the day, can only be none other than Brian Emmenis from Capital Sounds, no airshow would be complete without him. Health & Safety is a top priority and will be managed by the Safety Management Group.

The Algoa Flying Club hosted the first airshow in Gqeberha in 1966, and have organised this airshow in celebration of that fact and to commemorate their 66th Anniversary this year.
