Noordhoek Ski boat Club Seafood Festival

The Noordhoek Ski boat club will host the Seafood festival and will include, 40 + different seafood stalls, boat and helicopter rides, various music artists, kiddies entertainment, sun downer trips on yachts ect.

Over the years, Noordhoek Ski- boat Club and its fishing and diving community treasured and value the rich abundance of what the sea has to offer for the residents of Nelson Mandela Bay and surrounds. Well, the question arise….Why not share this with the world!!!!! Nelson Mandela Bay is renowned for its delicious fish species, mouth watering oysters and mussels….and not to forget….world class calamari!!!

Over the years Noordhoek played host to the well known Stock Fish derby, the annual Dive festival as well as the famous Geelbek Competition……and now, yet another addition to the Nelson Mandela bay calendar…..”The NSBC Sea Food Festival”.

“It just makes sense that we as a club look at some new and fresh ideas to promote our beautiful ocean and surrounds in the Metro” says JP Landman, chairman for the club. “ It makes it all worthwhile when you can give something back to the community and also have lots of fun” Landman continues.

The 2011 festival will be marked with lots of fun activities, scrumptious seafood from fully catered food stalls with a variety of dishes available to the visiting public. Activities include entertainment for kids, jumping castles, clowns, wood chopping, nail bashing and a Mr. and Miss Seafood competition…..including PE’s top mermaids taking part! Spoil yourself with a helicopter flip or boat ride and live music! Noordhoek offer you the pleasure of the serenity of the ocean and new friendships being formed all in one!
