SA National Parks Week
South African National Parks (SANParks) has heeded the request from South Africans who aren’t able to visit national parks during the week, to include weekends. This year’s 14th annual SA National Parks Week takes place once again in conjunction with our partners Total South Africa and FNB. National parks focus week is a worldwide campaign which gives people free day access to national parks. This annual event gives all South African citizens the opportunity to visit one of the 21 national parks for free.
Free day entry for South Africans into all national parks between Sunday 8 and Sunday 15 September. The national parks this applies to in and around Nelson Mandela Bay: Addo Elephant National Park (outside Port Elizabeth), Garden Route National Park, Camdeboo National Park (Graaff-Reinet) and Mountain Zebra National Park (Cradock).
