Sanctuary/Shelter Exhibition
The Alliance Française of Port Elizabeth is pleased to invite you to the opening of its new exhibition, entitled "Sanctuary/Shelter", on Thursday 11 May at 5.30 pm! The exhibition will be open until 9 June 2023.
The exhibition presents a collection of visual perceptions that allude to the notions of safety and shelter. They are composed of geometric shapes and elements of Buddhism that strongly inspire member of our Port Elizabeth artist community, Richard Barker!
And we have more good news for you. We are hosting a Walkabout on Saturday, May 13 at 11am. Come and learn more about Richard Baker, the unique creator of the artworks in this exciting exhibition.
These events will take place at our premises at 17 Mackay Street, Richmond Hill. This is a great opportunity to discover and promote the art and culture of our beautiful community.
We hope you will join us for an amazing experience. We thank you for your support!
