On the 40th anniversary of Tony Award winning Play "Sizwe Banzi is Dead" the theartical play will be making its way to where it all began, Port Elizabeth.
The PE Opera House is privileged to be the institution to host this world renown Africa classic. The roles of Styles and Sizwe made famous by John Kani and Winston Ntshona, respectively, are reprised by the young and dynamic duo Athandwa Kani and Mncedisi Shabangu who performed the play for the 1st time in November 2014 at the Market Theatre.
After a world tour and a year later, the production comes to the Port Elizabeth Opera House’s Barn Theatre from the 25th November to the 28th November
Shows start at 19:30 with a matinee show at 14:00 on Saturday 28 November.
