Sundays River Trash Bash

The Cannonville and Colchester community on the Sundays River Estuary will have their annual river clean up known as the "Trash Bash" on the 18th September 2010. Starting at 9h00 and ending at 12h30 the aim is to clean up litter along the village streets, river banks and instilling an awareness of protecting, maintaining and keeping the estuary clean. Major sponsor is Veolia Environmental Services and co-sponsors - PPC Cement - Nukakama Canoe Trails - SUNDAYS RIVER FERRY COMPANY - Colchester Kwickspar - Jinja Promotions - Alpha Pharm East Cape - Rossies Place - What's On In Sundays. The local Colchester Community School and its learners will also take part in the clean up.
