The 1820 Settlers

The Bayworld Museum will be hosting a History Talk on Wednesday 20 February at 17h30, in the EEC Building.
The aim of this lecture series is to explore the legacies of the 1820 settlers in South Africa, the Eastern Cape and Nelson Mandela Bay Metro. The lecture will focus on who they were, where they came from, why were they brought here, and how were they brought here.
Citizens of the city are all invited. A special invitation is extended to artists who may want to create art works from this history. These art works, may form part of the exhibition that Bayworld is planning for next year.
