Van Stadens Flower Festival 2024

Each spring, the 600-hectare Van Stadens Wildflower Reserve becomes a vibrant showcase of wild blooms. This year’s Flower Festival promises captivating highlights for flower lovers, families, and adventure seekers.

Indigenous Plant Sale:
Discover and purchase unique indigenous plants from the region at our Annual Indigenous Plant Sale, all while basking in the beauty of the Wildflower Reserve. Starts 8:00am. Cash and cards accepted.

Green Flag Trail Run:
For the adventurous at heart, test your limits with a 5km dash or a thrilling 15km run through the stunning landscapes of the Wildflower Reserve. For details and registration, visit: www.bigosports.co.za. Registration starts 6:30am - Run starts at 7:00am.

Guided Hikes and Tuk Tuk Tours:
Explore the wonders of the reserve through a guided hike or Tuk Tuk Tour. 3 guided hikes that include a kids hike, 3 Dam Trail, and Nymph Trail.

Picnic With Us:
Relax with a picnic—bring your blankets and baskets of treats to savour the tranquil surroundings of the Nursery and Reserve. Enjoy a spread of food and refreshments from various Food Trucks and including a specially-brewed Flower Festival beer!
