A Free Guided Tour of Cape Recife and Grysbok Nature Reserve including tour of the Cape Recife Lighthouse and SAMREC are available when using a Nelson Mandela Bay Pass. The tour includes:

-  Guided tour of SAMREC Penguin rehabilitation centre.

 -  Guided tour of the Cape Recife Lighthouse.

During the tour you will get to view Springbok, the unique Zebra, Red Hartebeest, the tiny Grysbok and the rich birdlife in this gem of a reserve on our very doorstep. It is a great opportunity explore the ancient history of the Khoikhoi inhabitants.

The tour also allows you to learn about the endangered African Penguin and experience the history of one of our first Lighthouses
