KIDS & BABY EXPO SET TO DRAW THOUSANDS!
The Herald First Choice Kids and Baby Expo, now in its 6th year, is the biggest family expo in the Eastern Cape, attracting thousands of visitors to this three-day event.
Visitors to the Expo, held from October 2 - 4, can look forward to the event joining in with the festivities of the Boardwalk’s 15th birthday celebrations at the Expo’s new venue, the Boardwalk Exhibition Centre.
Children visiting the expo on Friday, October 2 will receive a free Steers ice cream and on Saturday a free ride, on a first come, first served basis, on one of the rides at the Boardwalk.
The Herald will also be offering a free Spur kiddies’ meal coupon with every adult meal bought. Coupons will be available in the Herald and Weekend Post during the Expo.
The Expo will feature more than 100 exhibits including indoor entertainment, furniture, décor, education, nutrition, clothing and crafts.
Family and kid-friendly products and services will be on display and for sale, and a packed all day stage and action zone entertainment programme is planned for 9am to 6pm on Friday and Saturday, and 9am to 5pm on Sunday.
The Kids and Baby Expo will be the perfect place for parents to relax and shop as there will be lots of fun and action to keep the kids busy.
The Boardwalk Exhibition Centre offers a secure, central and weather proof environment as well as a comfortable baby changing area and private feeding area for new moms as well as pram and wheelchair assistance for all guests.
Entrance will be R35 for adults and R20 for kids and pensioners,with babies under 12 months attending for free. Tickets will be sold at the entrance to the expo on the weekend.
