VALLEY VIBES FAST BECOMING ONE OF PE’S MOST ANTICIPATED EVENTS
PORT ELIZABETH – After exploding onto the scene in September 2016, Port Elizabeth’s music scene is about to experience for the third time, one of The Bay’s fastest growing music festivals, Valley Vibes. Bursting with innovativeness, Valley Vibes will open its gates again on Saturday, 30 September at its home ground, Settlers Park. Vibers, as festival goers have come to be known, can make their way down to the park between 12h00 – 22h30.
With two vibey stage areas in play, Vibers will once again enjoy being able to choose between an electronic or live act stage. Headlining acts include Cape Town’s Afro/Indie pop rock band, Ben Dey and the Concrete Lions, as well as POPARTLIVE who is easily one of South Africa’s best live acts at the moment and who shot into public acclaim after the release of their first album, “Lights Out”.
With a “Dress for the Fest” competition, numerous local and national acts set to perform, a food village for the hungry, craft beer bars, a gin bar and a cocktail bar for the thirsty, live art and a play area for kids, this is one festival that has left no stone unturned.
In grounds parking will be limited on the day, so Vibers are encouraged to arrive with time to spare. The festival will also be making use of the Howler Cashless System, which means Vibers will be able to effortlessly tap their Howler cards to purchase food, drinks and additional entertainment. Vibers can use cash or card to load funds onto the system.
Loads of prizes will be up for grabs on the day and there’ll be various points of entertainment to be enjoyed by the entire family. Tickets range from R120 – R150 per person, whilst kids under 12 years of age enter for free. Tickets can be purchased from IntenseEvents.nutickets.co.za.
