Parking Areas:
There are 3 designated park and ride areas and one park and walk area around the city. Parking at these areas are free of charge. Shuttles will be operating from the park and ride areas listed below at a cost of R5 per person.
High School Cilliè
Serves as a park and walk area - park your car in the secure parking lot and walk to the stadium. It is situated 0.8km from the stadium and will be operational on match days 5 hours before kick-off.
Park and ride area - Cars can be parked in the secure parking lot free of charge and a shuttle service will transport people from the parking area to the stadium before and after the match for a small fee of R5 per person. It is 1.2km from the stadium and will be operational on match days, 5 hours before and 4 hours after the game.
This is where the fan fest will be situated. It is 4.3km from the stadium and will be open everyday from 11h00 to midnight. There will be a shuttle service from the park to the stadium at a cost of R5 per person.
This area has been allocated as a park and ride facility. A shuttle service will be available to transport people to and from the stadium at a cost of R5 per person.
Fan Fest (situated at St Georges Park)
The designated fan fest for the 2010 FIFA World Cup will be St Georges Park. There will be a shuttle service transporting fans to and from the park to the stadium, following a specific route through various parts of the city such as the vendor and activity areas. The fan fest will be open from 11h00 to midnight everyday.
Train service
The train service will be fully operational from 05h30 to 23h00 daily throughout the World Cup. The North End station is 1.3km from the stadium which is a comfortable walking distance. Normal fare rates apply. Click here for a train schedule.
Other modes of transport
There are a number of modes of transport available for your use during the World Cup. Public transport such as mini bus taxis, busses, metered taxis, specially branded accredited shuttle services, or transport arranged by your accommodation establishment or tour operator.
The trip from the airport to the stadium takes roughly 20 minutes and there will be transport (shuttles, taxis, busses) at the airport for your use when you arrive. A fare, specific to the mode of transport, will be charged.

Special needs transport
Specialised shuttles for persons with special needs (disabilities) have been arranged from St Georges Park to the stadium. These services must be requested from the Association for the physically disabled (APD): 082 200 6393.
