ECTOUR promotes the Eastern Cape as a tourism destination from a private sector point of view. It also acts as an umbrella body of active private tourism associations representing the 9 tourism regions across the Eastern Cape. Our Vision is to be the recognised, respected and effective, cooperative voice for private sector tourism to market and develop the Eastern Cape as a viable and sustainable world class destination. We intend doing this, in a collaborative, sustainable and responsible manner, by providing effective marketing, lobbying, support and mentorship to the associations and their members whilst while seeking partnerships with all other tourism institutions.
