Tsitsikamma Falls Adventure Park is situated in the heart of the Tsitsikamma. A mere 10km east of the Stormsriver Bridge next to the N2 Eastern Capes Garden Route of South Africa. Tsitsikamma Falls Adventures offers various adrenaline and fun filled activities e.g. “Waterfall Zipline Tour”, Quad Bike Rides and Gravity Zone Abseiling.
Our “Waterfall Zipline Tour” is world renowned and takes you on 8 Zipslides across the Kruis River. Suspended in a harness you will glide zigzag across the river and over 3 waterfalls, viewing the lush indigenous vegetation below sometimes 50 meters above ground.
Our guided Quad Bike Tours takes you on an 45 min ride through farmlands and next to indigenous forest situated on the foothills of the Tsitsikamma Mountains.
Our Gravity Zone Abseiling offers you the opportunity to rappel 30 meters down a fern cove to the bottom of a waterfall.
We also have a conference facility available that can accommodate up to 80 people. This is an ideal venue for teambuilding, corporate events and group booking of 15+ people.

What makes the Tsitsikamma “Waterfall Zipline Tour” unique is that you have the opportunity to safely slide on a zip line across 3 beautiful waterfalls surrounded by indigenous trees and plants. This eco-adventure is sure to give you an adrenaline rush, zigzagging across the Kruis River with the wind in your face and the whistle of the pulley on the cable. You will hear the rush of the waterfalls all along the Zipline Tour.
Our tours depart every 30 min and groups sizes can be up to 12 people. (Larger groups can be accommodated as per prior arrangement.) We operate in most weather conditions (even when raining) and tours will only be seized if there is lightning or if it is deemed that it would be unsafe and endanger the safety of our clients.
If for some reason you are unable to enjoy our it’s amazing, it’s awesome, it’s spectacular “Waterfall Zipline Tour” you are more than welcome to take a walk along the footpaths, decks and suspension bridge overlooking the beauty of the waterfalls and nature be part of the adventure while your friends or family takes part in the tour. Viewing the waterfalls and walking along the river is free of charge and permission can be obtained at the reception.

The Tsitsikamma "Waterfall Zipline Tour" Cost ZAR 350 per person. Note that we do take most major credit cards like VISA and Mastercard.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE TOUR
The “Waterfall Zipline Tour” consists of 8 slides totaling 822m (2697 feet) of which the longest is 211m (692 feet). Upon your arrival you must report at the reception to pay where after you will receive a ticket and report at the kitting room. You’ll be given an indemnity form to sign and our guides will get you geared up in a harness for an amazing experience.
Once kitted you will be introduced and accompanied by two professional guides to the starting point of the tour. There you will be given a safety briefing and the guides will explain the do’s and don’ts during the tour. They will explain to you how our patented braking system works. The first two slides is relatively slow just to get you used the experience.
On the fifth slide you will cross over the first waterfall and you’ll land on a platform above the crest of the second waterfall. On the sixth slide of 165 meters you’ll cross over two more stunning waterfall passing the cliff’s only an arms length away. From there you’ll walk up a pathway approximately 150 meters where you will receive a refreshing drink. From the deck you can enjoy the beauty of one the Garden Routes hidden gems with a breathtaking view overlooking the waterfalls. If you choose you can take a short walk to the suspension bridge where the abseiling takes place and get a stunning view from above the second waterfall.
After enjoying your refreshment you’ll take a walk approximately 100 meters to the start of our longest and highest slide. This slide is 211m (692 feet) long and at times 50 meters (20 stories) above the ground. The eighth and last slide will bring you back across the river and you will return to the kitting rooms and you’ll be offered complimentary refreshment.

Furthermore there are strict criteria set by the Insurance Companies which we have to abide by. We are also one of only companies in the world to have our own patented zip line braking systems. “Foefie Brake©” & “Foefie Stop©”. Some companies use gloves to brake, which may lead to injuries such as dislocated or injured shoulders and fingers getting caught between the pulley and the wire rope. Note that under no circumstances patrons are allowed to handle any equipment.
HOW LONG DOES THE TOUR TAKE?
The average group size of 8 people takes about 1hour to 1hour 30 min. Note that this might vary due to factors such as:
- When accommodating very large groups 30+.
- The amount of children in the group.
- The amount of parents and children sliding in Tandem.
- Persons in the group with a fear of heights.
- The fitness levels of the group (since there is walking involved).
- When raining it takes time to dry the rain suits.

Quad Bike Tour
TSITSIKAMMA FALLS ADVENTURE QUAD BIKE TOUR
This adventure activity is suitable from the age of 10 years and older. Any person younger than 10 years old needs to be accompanied by an adult. This is a guided tour and booking is essential due to limited availability. The tour takes place on a farm opposite Tsitsikamma Falls Adventures.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR TOUR!
The tour takes approximately 45 min. Guest needs to report at reception at least 30min before the Tsitsikamma Quad Bike Tour departs. You will have to do the payment at the office and then report at the Kitting room. There you will receive an indemnity form to sign and you will be kitted in a rain suit, helmet etc. You will be taken to the starting point by your professional tour guide and he will brief you on the safety and the use of the Quad Bike.
All the motorcycles are automatic and need little or no experience. You will then depart on your tour at the foothills of the Tsitsikamma Mountains through farmlands. You will travel along the edge of the indigenous forest. Halfway through the tour you will stop to enjoy a complimentary refreshment and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Depending on the weather you can expect either dust or mud which will add to your unforgettable experience. Guests are requested to always obey instructions and warnings from your tour guide as to avoid injury to yourself and/or others or damage to the quad bikes. This is a very high risk adventure and persons not abiding to instructions will not be allowed to continue the tour.

This adventure activity is suitable from the age of 7 years and older. This activity requires pre booking and is usually offered as a package combined with the "Waterfall Zipline Tour" as part of our Team Building and Accommodation packages.
THE EXPERIENCE
The Tsitsikamma Falls Adventure Waterfall "Gravity Zone Abseiling" takes place on the Tsitsikamma Falls Adventure Park property, down one of the beautiful waterfalls. You will repel 30 meters down a luscious fern cove to the bottom of the second waterfall. The activity takes place most of the year with the exception of the occasional flooding.

Our Teambuilding facilities offer a variety of activities on the premises for groups to participate in, and will ensure a memorable experience. Situated on the foothills of the Tsitsikamma Mountain Range, close to Stormsriver on the Garden Route in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. With our pristine natural surrounding and three natural Waterfalls on the property, you will feel like staying forever.
Our adrenalin activities include a "Waterfall Zipline Tour", "Waterfall Abseiling", "Quad Bike Rides" and an indoor climbing wall. We also offer other activities e.g. drumming sessions, paint ball, orienteering, volley ball, swimming in river pools, hiking, etc. All our activities are aimed at enhancing group dynamics. If required we can arrange Organizational Development Consultants who are professionals in their own field, to assist you in achieving specific goals during your visit. We also provide Life Orientation Certification for Grade 10-12, so give us a call for your next School Camp or Outing.
The facilities offer the ultimate setting and surroundings for great team building sessions. Numerous outdoor adventure activities on the premises suitable for corporate and school groups to participate in are on offer and special rates apply to large groups. Bookings are essential and it is advised that it is done well in advance.
Accommodation
We have 7 Rooms that sleeps up to 6 people each and two dormitories that sleeps up to 28 and 16 respectively. Our Conference Facility can sleep up to 87 people an Ablution is shared. If required we can arrange additional accommodation at other local Hotels, Lodges, B&B's etc to accommodate larger groups. Parking facilities for buses and vehicles are available at Complex.
Meals
We have a fully equipped Big and Small kitchen. Self catering option is preferred, but we can provide meals at additional cost. We have an Indoor and Large Outdoor Braai area. We also have a Bar facility and pool table.

Group size is max 60 persons and minimum 10 people.
TOUR SCHEDULES
We are open every day of the year and depart every 1 to 1h30 min. The first tours leaves at 08h30 and last group leaves 15h00 during off season. During peak season first groups leave at 08h00 and last groups leave at 16h00. Signing of indemnity forms and kitting up takes approximately 30 min. It is very important to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
TOUR COST
The Tsitsikamma Falls Waterfall "Gravity Zone Abseiling" cost ZAR100 per person. Discounts applicable for large group bookings, or when combing with the "Waterfall Zipline Tour" and when making use of or Team Building and Conference Facilities or accommodation. Note that we do take most major credit cards like VISA and Mastercard.

Our Teambuilding facilities offer a variety of activities on the premises for groups to participate in, and will ensure a memorable experience. Situated on the foothills of the Tsitsikamma Mountain Range, close to Stormsriver on the Garden Route in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. With our pristine natural surrounding and three natural Waterfalls on the property, you will feel like staying forever.
Our adrenalin activities include a "Waterfall Zipline Tour", "Waterfall Abseiling", "Quad Bike Rides" and an indoor climbing wall. We also offer other activities e.g. drumming sessions, paint ball, orienteering, volley ball, swimming in river pools, hiking, etc. All our activities are aimed at enhancing group dynamics. If required we can arrange Organizational Development Consultants who are professionals in their own field, to assist you in achieving specific goals during your visit. We also provide Life Orientation Certification for Grade 10-12, so give us a call for your next School Camp or Outing.
The facilities offer the ultimate setting and surroundings for great team building sessions. Numerous outdoor adventure activities on the premises suitable for corporate and school groups to participate in are on offer and special rates apply to large groups. Bookings are essential and it is advised that it is done well in advance.
Accommodation
We have 7 Rooms that sleeps up to 6 people each and two dormitories that sleeps up to 28 and 16 respectively. Our Conference Facility can sleep up to 87 people an Ablution is shared. If required we can arrange additional accommodation at other local Hotels, Lodges, B&B's etc to accommodate larger groups. Parking facilities for buses and vehicles are available at Complex.
Meals
We have a fully equipped Big and Small kitchen. Self catering option is preferred, but we can provide meals at additional cost. We have an Indoor and Large Outdoor Braai area. We also have a Bar facility and pool table.
